Cycad Process® is structured so that the design engineer can easily draw the flowsheet, enter the required data, and compare results with those obtained previously. This allows the user doing the mass balance calculations to produce the process flow diagrams and the mass balance in the same step. As changes are made, the process flow diagrams are automatically updated.

Cycad Process® is designed to save you time in:

  • determining the Mass and Energy Balance;
  • drawing the Process Flow Diagram (PFD);
  • detailing the Design Criteria; and,
  • detailing the major Equipment List.

Cycad Process® provides a logical and intuitive way to draw the flow sheet and to enter the operating data. The process engineer draws flowsheet in the page viewer by dragging and dropping icons of the process equipment from a process library onto the page. Process streams link equipment, and data is entered in the property viewer.

The calculation engine optimises the calculation sequence. Results are presented in spreadsheets, which can be exported directly to Excel.
